Terms & Conditions
Last updated: May 6, 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
The Skip the Course service (the "Service") is provided by Cherie LaFlamme ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, accessing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Skip the Course is an interactive, AI-guided online course that helps users go from idea to a shipped MVP. The Service includes free content (such as the free guide and Module 1) and a paid Full Course offering lifetime access to additional modules and AI-assisted features.
3. Account & eligibility
You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to enter into these Terms. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular you must not: (a) use it for any unlawful purpose or to infringe the rights of others; (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access, probe, scan, or test the security of the Service; (c) introduce malware or interfere with the operation of the Service; (d) scrape or extract data outside the intended use; (e) use the Service to send spam or for fraud; (f) reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service.
5. AI features and your content
The Service uses AI models to generate outputs from inputs you provide. You are responsible for your prompts, for verifying the accuracy of outputs, for how you use them, and for ensuring you have the rights to any content you submit. You must not use the Service to create illegal content, deepfakes, hate speech, malware, or to attempt to bypass safety measures of the underlying models.
AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and are not a substitute for professional advice (legal, financial, medical, or otherwise). We may filter, restrict, or remove content that violates these Terms, and we may suspend accounts that repeatedly do so.
You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to host and process that content solely to provide and improve the Service.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, its software, design, content, and branding are owned by Cherie LaFlamme and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with the plan you have purchased. No other rights are granted.
7. Pricing, payment and Merchant of Record
The current price of the paid Full Course is USD $29 as a one-time purchase for lifetime access, unless otherwise stated at checkout. Applicable taxes may be added.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, invoicing, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms.
8. Refunds
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on the paid Full Course. See our Refund Policy for details and instructions.
9. Service availability
We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
10. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our acceptable use rules. You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination, the limited licence granted to you ends.
11. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Cherie LaFlamme resides, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply.
